What It's All About
This is a visual portfolio of my life: the things I make and the things I do.
So many people have professional portfolios to show their work, I wanted to do something different. Here I want to show everything else in my life: my travels, the food I enjoy cooking, the places I enjoy visiting. There's a lot I want to do with my life, so it can seem a bit all over the place. By trade and by education, I'm a filmmaker. By passion, I'm an amateur cook, a photographer, a fashion critic, a lover of classical architecture.
Some weeks I travel ceaselessly for shoots across the US, others I stay home and tear through books like Marcella Hazan's Essentials of Italian Cooking. Often work trips turn into vacations, and vice versa. I am very blessed to explore new places like the French Riviera for Festival de Cannes or the wilderness of Alaska; but I'm also content to discover new things at home in Texas.
The longest story short is, I find myself having new experiences all the time, and thought this place as good as any to chronicle them. And, I suppose, I'll also put some of my work on here. It couldn't hurt, right?
